Christmas Eve 2009! What a great day
With Geneva having banked so much vacation, and the EA studio shutting down for two full weeks, we both had Dec 18th through to January 4th off. What a blessing.
With both Syd and Logan in daycare 5 days a week, and with flights for three looking like they would be over $1500... we decided to stay home and spend time together as a foursome. Although we miss everyone at home, we don't miss the -50 degree with windchill weather (especially when it's +5 to +10 with no snow here).
Our activities:
Monday - A mommy and daddy date day with a car check up that was an excuse for a lunch at Sandbar and a date on Granville Island. Got a little Logan shopping too (boys are much harder to shop for in general, and Logan is very low maintenance right now)
Tuesday - USA Shopping day trip to Premium followed by Japanese dinner in Surrey (due to traffic)... kids were great troopers.
Wednesday - Swimming at the pool time!
Christmas Eve (Thursday) started with a a little korean lunch at Jang Bo Job followed by picking up our Stanley Park Bright Light tickets. Sydney is a big fan of Jab Che (thanks to Tom and Dave Suh for introducing us to that yumminess) and Logan caught the eye of all the Korean girls and ladies (which I think makes mommy very happy).
