Day 1: Dinner with Goofy at Goofy's Kitchen

We met up with Ian, Katherine, Sam and Caden for dinner. They joined us for the first two and a half days of our trip. They arrived Saturday and stayed to Wednesday, we arrived Monday departing the Saturday thereafter.

First dinner together at Goofy's Kitchen was great. It's great being at a character buffet dinner.
- We had a mix of TweedleDee, Mat Hatter, Minnie Mouse, Pluto and Goofy. The kids were not fans of Mat Hatter - so mommy got to pose with him. Geneva's shirt got stained with pasta sauce, hence the napkin pose with Mat Hatter. Sydney was great overall, Logan was a little shy. Sam had nothing to do with any of them (not even Minnie :)).
- Buffet was great. We were able to get some extra food for snacks and breakfast. So convenient and with the prices elsewhere, when you amortize the meal over a number of meals, it's a deal. Haha.
- The best part is seeing how constantly entertained the kids are. Sydney loved picking out all of the characters while munching on hot dogs (a treat - not the norm). And of course, it actually allows us (the parents) the opportunity to eat as well. We must have seen three or four local kid birthdays there.
