July 11: Auntika Wake-Up call

If i have the dates right, Auntie Christina and Josh came to visit from July 9th to July 15th. It was our first time hanging out with Josh, and Auntie Christina's first time to the house. Chris reminded me just before the trip that it had been 7 months since I had seen her... which is the longest stretch we've ever gone without seeing each other. I couldn't believe it at first, but she was right. Thank goodness for unlimited txt msg plans, it's our primary way of keeping in touch now... haha.

Anyhow Syd, by the morning of the 11th you had already established your new morning routine. You would get up, finish your bottle, and then as soon as you were done you would race into your room (you are sleeping with us while we have all the visitors in) and yell "auntika? auntika?" Apparently Auntie Christina is too long to pronounce.

Everytime you walk into the room, Josh is already up and waves hello (he slept on the futon mom, don't freak out) but Christina was fast asleep.

Your three step wake-up call was:
1) Climb on Auntie Christina's bed and pat her (gentle, gentle)
2) Cuddle up to her
3) Steal her IPOD
And viola! Auntika is awake.
