July 15th:Chris & Josh Visit/ Last Dinner at Marcelo's

Chris & Josh (I guess) it was fun having you guys around for a week. Sydney had a blast hanging out with you guys. Some of the highlights:
- Cross border shopping, getting the awkwards interviews at the US border going in ("that random half Persian dude is a 'friend'" said Geneva. "Really?" said Mr. Customs Officier. "He's my BOYfriend" answers Christina so that we can finally cross the border."), and getting pulled aside at the Canadian border coming back and having to pay duty (Josh was a give away with his three ties that he was wearing at the same time).
- Anton's and Josh getting his pen
- Christina cleaning up Sydney's puke on the playground slide (that's true Auntie love).
- Tasting hundreds of flavours at Mario's Gelato (garlic... yuck).
- Josh ordering Persian food for us on Lonsdale
- Sydney calling Chris "Auntika" meaning Auntie Christina

It was much fun having you guys... hope to see you again real soon.












Quick footnote: Our first night together, Josh and Christina were VERY hungry having skipped lunch. We took them to Antone's in Burnaby were Josh unbelieveably polished off his Linguini Seafood (the serving sizes are huge and anyone that finishes their plate gets a pen that says "I ate the whole thing.") So the rest of the trip I was think that Josh was going to be a monster eater... so we went to all you can eat sushi, persian, and Marcelo's on commerical. Josh never ate quite as much as he did the first night... but the dude can definitely eat.

Sydney, at Marcelo's you had your first taste of calamari. You hated the tentacles, they freaked you out, but you loved the rest. You must have had eight pieces as your appetizer before moving on to your spaghetti (that you insist on eating with your hands). It was great entertainment for Auntika and Josh.
