Boston Old Town Trolley Tour

After game day, Ong Noi was excited to tour Boston. Probably the highlight of his trip.

When dad was younger (I guess both me and Ong Noi), Ong Noi use to always talk about M.I.T. being the greatest school out there, the school of the elite. I told dad that I'm sure in another life, he would have attended MIT and gotten his first degree there. As he's gotten older and taken more to social sciences/ economics/ business, etc, that dream has changed in the form of MIT to now Harvard. For Ong Noi to be in a city like Boston, rich with American history, and surrounded by elite academia... for a guy that always preached the value and importance of education, he was like a kid in a candy store.

When ventured through Boston on the Old Town Trolley Tour, we designated stops at M.I.T (with a subway ride over to Harvard), Boston Common (originally a common ground for the people of Boston to plant crops during the revolution years when the city was limited in terms of imports by the British - Boston's version of Central Park), and Quincey Market. Along the way we saw Fenway Park, more of Cambridge, the Freedom Trail, TD Garden, downtown Boston and more.

It was an incredible experience touring Boston with dad. He referred to the trip as the "trip of enlightenment", which was interesting.
