Allergic Reaction?

Oh Sydney.....we're so sorry.
We think you're allergic to eggs or perhaps we introduced egg white to you a bit too early.
When we got up one morning, this is the face that greeted us.
You didn't look too hot but you still had your usual appetite and energy level. The swelling in the face went down in about 48 hours. Poor kid.......

Oct 13: One Month Update

Wow, it's been a busy month. Sydney, you started daycare in mid-September and it's been a cycle of sick-no-sick again. Your first week of daycare, there were about four other babies that were sniffing and sneezing. So at the end of the first week, you caught something called hand-foot-mouth virus. We didn't know what it was at first because she was only a little under the weather and there was some weird rash-like spots... but by the time the weekend rolled around and we were suppose to go to Seattle to visit Uncle Ian and cousin Caden, you were full on sick. Such a trooper... we promise to take it easier.

You took the second week off with mom and stayed at home from daycare. Then the third week you went back to daycare and surprise-surprise... sick again! This time, you were sick the weekend of Auntie Kerrie's wedding! And mommy was in the wedding party so daddy was flying solo looking after you, making short trips to the MacQueen's place in the pouring rain, and picking up pizzas for the wedding dinner. Again though, you made it through with little complaints. Thanks for being my date for the wedding!

- your first raincoat from Ba Noi (and picked out by Mommy)
- Stealing stuff from mommy's trunk at a charity event at Canuck Place Children's Hospice (where dad's team did a pre-launch event on EA Playground).
- Helping mommy try on her bridesmaid dress.
