Happy Dada Day

Thanks for the great gift, the gelato, and for being the three best people a dad could ever ask for to spend his day with.

Sorbet/ Gelato ATTACK!

218 flavours at La Casa - always an out of town favourite.

Sydney loved showing off her chocolate sorbet moustache... silly girl. Poor Logey slept through the whole thing this time. Nice Father's Day, I'm taking him to a comic shop for sure!

Visit from Texas...

Heather, Jenny (now from Seattle), their mom and Danny came to visit over the weekend. We had fun hanging out, doing some shopping (serious foodies and candy addicts), and going to dim sum. It was great catching up and getting to really know Danny. Looking forward to seeing more of Danny and Jenny in the near future.

Sydney goes to Zack's Birthday

Sydney was invited to Zack's birthday - one of the boys from daycare

- Highlight/ Low-Light - Sydney and I had been joking with the kids at daycare about what to get Zack. Zack said that he wanted a Superman toy, Sydney said she wanted to buy him a princess dress (of course). So Geneva thought it would be funny to play a prank on Zack and wrap up one of Syd's princess dresses as a gift (followed by other real superhero gifts). LMAO! When Sydney presented the gift, she asked Zack "do you remember what i was going to get you for your birthday?" He replied, "no." - bit of an uh-oh trigger. He unwrapped the first gift to reveal Sydney's Ariel Little Mermaid dress. Zack then broke out in tears. Provided that he isn't scarred from the experience... it was hilarious. I love Geneva - we have the same sense of humour. :)

- Anyhow, Sydney loved the blacklight bowling, munching on salty hot dogs and chips, and hanging out with her friends. We don't think she cared about hitting the pins, she just liked throwing the pins down the aisle. Logan liked starring at the lights and playing with the party hats. :)

Strolling in Kits

Going for a stroll in Kits on a sunny weekend.
