Sportball/ Dance/ Snowshoeing

More activities with the kids.
- Logan and daddy (generally daddy anyways) do a weekly sportball class. Logan was initially freaked out by all the running (as the gym felt like an earthquake rumbling) but got use to it. He loves soccer, football, hockey, basketball and volleyball.
- Sydney continues with dance class. Between that and drawing, she has a very strong creative side. We can even see it in the iphone aps she likes with dress-up games.
- Mom's work had a team outing and we took the kids snowshoeing at Cypress. It was a ton of fun. Sydney did a great job walking the course, Logan gave up about half way through. :)

Edmonton Part I - everyone's home

I told Ba Noi that the ironic thing about death is that it's one of the rare times that everyone comes together. Sadly, our beloved On Co (daddy's On Ngoai) passed away just before the holidays and on eve of Ba Noi's retirement. We all loved him very much. All of the cousins in my generation had differing but equally fond memories of him - Tyler and Jade's eulogies were done very well.

Again though, the positive was that we were all together, and I can't remember the last time that happened (probably Ian's wedding truthfully).
- Pond hockey on the local rink, highlighted by the cousins bodychecking Miki into the snow
- Celebrating Ba Noi's retirement and seeing Sydney and Caden dance up a storm
- Thien baking an impressive and authentic "Luigi's Lasanga"
- Watching Black Swan - weirdness
- Toboganning with kids for the first time - what a thrill for them, and all of us.

It was also great to have an Eggos Reunion night. So proud of all the little sisters - what a special team that was.

Miss you all.

Edmonton Part II - At the Farm

It's always a treat to hang out at the farm over the holidays. It's remote, it's quiet, and Popo and Gong Gong always spoil all four of us. It was great seeing Auntie Doo, Tarick, Uncle Kirby, Auntie Ava and cousin Korby.

Thanks for the spin on the quad Gong Gong.
