Play Dates!

Couple of play dates in the last few weeks with Shaye & Tanakas, Max & Kyla, and Gillian. Lots of fun and great seeing everyone. Amazing that Gillian was able to get to North Vancouver with a GPS... very impressed. Can't wait to see Kyla and her cheese-muffins again... so good!

Mommy gives Sydney a haircut

Great job mommy, Sydney loves it. I told mommy (and Ba Co Hanh reiterated on a skype call) that Sydney's haircut looks EXACTLY like Christina's when she was young. Mommy admits that it's stylish and low maintenance.

Thanks for visiting Popo

Thanks again for visiting Popo, and helping mommy out while Daddy was away. See you again in February!

Our Anniversary/ New Year's Dinner at Salmon House

Before the Boston, we celebrated mom and dad's anniversary at Salmon House (coupons!) We'll really miss the Cannery a lot, the food and service there is so much better.

Sydney loves her salmon, such a great eater. Logan liked looks at all the native artifacts, and nibbling on the food (not a fan yet).

Happy anniversary mom!

Off to Edmonton

Here's the sign of a real mama's boy:
- 17 hours of travel
- 3 hour delay in Boston, missed connection in Montreal, 2 hour delay in Montreal, bonus connection to Toronto, lost my check bag in Toronto, into Edmonton at 1 AM.
- Traveled with dad to Montreal but he got on the direct flight (and all his bags arrived ok)

All so that daddy could get home to see Ba Noi after her knee surgery. I'm glad that Ba Noi is in such good spirits, and that we could give her a break from Ong Noi. hehheh.

Seriously, Ong Noi was a great travel buddy. This was a unique, life changing trip for us and something I will always cherish. Love you both very much.

The Celtics at TD Garden

One consistent about Boston sports is LINEUPS... man, it takes forever to get inside of a building.

Still, grateful to take dad to his first basketball game to see the historic Celtics. Ironic, but we watched them play the Raptors, they only team that I've seen more than a half of a dozen times from my time living in Toronto.

Glad that dad enjoyed the game and the new experience of watching these giant athletes play a sport that I use to play in our driveway at 10448-33rd avenue.

More pictures from Boston

Highlights:
- Walking around MIT
- Harvard Square and a photo of the Jon Harvard statue (the statue of three lies - founder, date, and of it not being Jon Harvard)
- Boston Common & the State House
- Trinty Church reflected in the John Hancock building (the old reflected in the new)
