Happy 3rd Birthday Sydney

Our little girl is now 3 years old. The time just flies. The best three years of our lives for sure, especially with little B-googs around.

This year Sydney didn't want friends over (so we dodged that one for likely the last year). On her actual birthday, all she wanted was an "udon dinner" at Haru Sushi, and to go swimming... which we did!

Then on the weekend, we had a little Pampered Chef party with Linda, Anita, Judy, Rob-Tanya, Bree-Dave and of course Samantha and Shaye! Good times, martinis all around (not for the kids), sparkles on mom's homemade cupcakes, and lots of princess balloons.

Happy birthday little Sydney. You loved mommy's princess pillow case, and were lukewarm to dad's baby blue Sidney Crosby jersey. :)

EAC Volleyball Champs

One of the best part of working at EAC is that it feels like university again, intramurals included. This summer, despite my initial reservations because of my shoulder, I played with out department's rec co-ed beach volleyball team. So much fun.

Dave Rosen put the team together, and on a weekly basis is was Voon, Dodd (so skilled, so lazy), Terrett (who hits like girl), Kathryn (KMVP), and Tripepi or Bryan Chow drilling the opposition.

This is our trophy. The Volleyball itself spins! :)

Logan at 10 months, Sydney at 2 3/4 years old. We went back to Kevin James Day, who did Geneva's Logan pregnancy photos. We had such a good experience. With this one, the kids were running around the very shrunk down studio area. When Geve and I left we thought, "well, that was a waste of a sitting session." Unreal that the pictures turned out at all. :)
