Day 3: Happy Birthday Sam

Celebrating at Rainforest Cafe. Nice mug shot Uncle Ian. :)

Day 3: The hidden gem... the cockpit of the Monorail

Much better than the train ride around the park.

Day 3: Morning in Fantasyland

More teacups! :) The kids also got some gifts (Sydney hand picked her Minnie House hat over getting mouse ears).

The Toad ride was not a great one for the kids. They liked Peter Pan and Alice as well, but their favourite was still tea cups.

Day 2: Night Riders

Sydney and Logan had a blast riding in the front cockpit of the monorail.

Uncle Ian and I went on the Indiana Jones ride (i hate riding front right) switching turns with Auntie Katherine and Mommy.

The fireworks were a little too loud for the kids, but we were able to sneak in more "Its a Small World" and "Autotopia" time. :)

Logan's favourite rides were the Toy Story ones. He's FAVOURITE saying was "I SHOOT THE BAD GUYS!" hahahaha.

Day 3: Princess Fantasy Fair

The highlight of Sydney's trip. On Day 3, we lined up first thing in the morning in Main St. Daddy sprinted to the Princess Fantasty Fair as soon as the rope was lifted, with mommy just behind pushing the stroller. On average, it was a 90 minute wait line to do a meet and greet with three princesses. We were lucky enough to meet with Belle, Ariel and Tiana.

Afterwards, Sydney got her princess face paint done as well. A great start to the day.

Day 2: An afternoon with Caden and Sam

After a morning of scouting out the lines at Princess Fantasy Fair (more to follow, serious scouting reports of the line up... 95 minute wait!), riding through Fantasyland again (morning teacups, no lines - Dumbo, etc), and eating at Big Thunder Ranch Barbeque (hmmm... more barbq meat for the morning congee) - we hooked up with Ian, Kath, Caden and Sam for the afternoon.

We strolled through Frontierland first:
- It was tough to get a photo of all the four kids together (between a mistimed Logan diaper change, Sam looking the wrong way, and just getting them to stand still).
- The kids stood front and center on the top floor of Mark Twain's Steamboat.
- Sydney (after her successful take on Gadget's Go Coaster), Geve and Katherine took her on Big Thunder Mountain Railroad... when i saw her after the ride she looked shellshocked. Too fast, too rickety, too much light and dark contrast...oh well. She was almost scared off of roller coasters forever (no Space Mountain this trip) - thank goodness we have that other video.

Off to Tomorrowland, where Katherine and Ian educated us on the value of Switch Passes and ReAdmission Passes.
- Buzz Light AStro Blasters was a Logan favourite, or as Geneva and him would call it, the ride where Logan goes and says "I shoot the BAD GUYS!"
- We bypassed the huge line at Finding Nemo thanks to Ian having a ReAdmisson Pass. Three years ago Sydney FREAKED out when she was on it. In these photos, she's still less than impressed. Logan thought it was ok, but i had to cover his eyes during the scary parts.

After Monorails back and forth between naps, it was off for a night of teacups, dumbo, and autopia. And yes, daddy did somehow manage to ditch the car at autopia. And of course, our first ride on "It's a Small World"... that was the all-time Sydney and Logan favourite... even more than teacups.

So much fun.

Day 2: Morning Mickey

It tool a little while to see Mickey, but we saw him at his house. Logan was a little shy, but warmed up. Sydney almost missed out. Right before we went in to see Mickey, she had to go pee. Three cheers for mom who raced Sydney out and back in again.

A surprise stumble into Goofy as well.
