Date night

Many thanks to Auntie Anita for babysitting, and some very good friends as well that landed us tickets to Coldplay.

Mommy and daddy haven't been on a date in ages. Part of it is that we love spending time with the kids, so time away from the kids has to really be worth it. And Chris Martin's band is always worth it.

From butterflies, to backstage VIP post-concert access (we felt like groupies... i forced Geneva to bail after she saw the drummer), giant yellow balloons, upfront serenades of "the hardest part" (literally we could have swiped Chris' water bottle)... no on puts on a show like Coldplay.

Thanks again to everyone that helped with the night out. We were very happy daters.

Mommy loves hanging out with the kids during the weeks, and does a great job of getting you guys out and keeping you busy. From swimming, to ice cream and bubble tea runs, to trampoline activities... it's a lot of fun with mommy.

Sydney gets her nails done

Though daddy would like to toughen her up for sports at some point, there's no doubt that Sydney definitely has a pretty girl side to her. She saw mommy get her nails done before and wanted to do it as well.

Super fun times at Linda's place with Judy/ Evan, Kayla/ Samantha, Yvonne/ Sonny/ Ethan/ Emma and even more.

Sydney had a blast playing frisbee, running around with a watering can and watering EVERYTHING, pretending to hide and seek (her and Sam would run somewhere and cover their eyes as I counted... and then when I got to 10 they would run out and yell "here I am!" At least I didn't have to worry about not being able to find them).

Logan spent the day inside with the moms catching up on UBC office gossip... and trying to nap.

Logan's Piano Lessons from Sydney

ALBERTA07 Back-to-Back Champion: HC Sydney Logan

For the second year in a row, Sydney takes the championship from Auntika, Auntiejade & Steve, Uncle Ben, Lucky, CRaab, Uncle Alex and new comer Josh.

This year, Logan came in (Nov 15th to be precise) and was the driving force in pushing for the acquistion of Sidney Crosby (mainly for his sister's namesake). The tandem of Malkin and Crosby took them to the top on the last game of the year over Steve and Jade, and Auntika.

Sydney's favourite team (outside of the oilers) is the "Pengoos" and she's celebrating in the pictures with her/ dad's Malkin jersey. I have to get her a Crosby one... Looger too. :)
