Ippssy Eggos
My name is David Le. I'm married to Geneva, the son of Hoang and Tuyet Le, the brother to Ian and Christina, and father to Sydney. My inspiration for starting off this blog was for Geneva and I to write our thoughts, experiences, and learnings in some place. Geneva and I were expecting our first child in Nov'06 and we hoped that this blog would help our kids to get some perspective on who we were and what life was like as started our family. Why Ippssy Eggos? You'll find out.

Dinner with Charles and Gary
As part of mommy's Christmas gift, Charles and Gary came over and cooked up a delicious four course meal.
- basil leaf and brie cheese on tomato with a balsalmic vinegrette
- tasty pork filled mushroom caps
- bacon wrapped chicken with fontina cheese and sage, served with mushroom risotto and asparagus
- taro bread pudding with bailey's and rum sauce
Mommy loved it. Sydney cashed in her appies for perogies, but loved the chicken.
Thanks guys! dinner was fantastic.
A visit with Jane & Peter
I've coached a lot of kids over the course of 6 years in Edmonton and Kerrisdale. I have a lot of great friends as a result including players, coaches and parents. The two that I probably learned the most from were Jacob and Wei. I am probably the most indebted to them for teaching me about the true meaning of loyalty and leadership.
Because they held the Titans together and delivered on their end of the deal, I was able to enjoy my favourite year coaching the Titans. We had such a great groups of guys who genuinely wanted to be together.
As well, Geneva and I became life-long friends with Jane and Peter (and sigh... Rowan). Sydney loves visiting them (and Rudy) over afternoon tea. Logan is already super comfortable with Jane (re: sleeping in her arms). Sydney is teaching Peter how to read through his one inch bifocals. And daddy looks forward to any excuse to pig out on cream puffs or cupcakes.
See you guys when the renos are done.
Mommy reading
I've noticed that one of the kids' favourite things is when mommy reads to them. She's put them both on the futon together and there are a couple of Dr. Seuss books that she will read to them.
Sydney will help mom read to Logan. Logan loves listening to anything that rhymes, and to mommy's voice. He seriously LOVES Geneva. He follows her voice no matter where she is in the room.
Feb: ADoodoo and Tarick
It was nice to have a couple of dinners with Adoodoo and Tarick.
- We had a chance to go for Lee & Adele's first "real" chinese dinner... reminder for next time, when you do dinner with Lee and Tarick, get the dinner of 10 instead of the dinner for 6.
- We also had japanese at Haru, attempting to get Tarick off of the all-you-can-eat addiction. Unfortunately, Tarick may never have sushi ever again after a wasabi-chuck-challenge with daddy. Tarick almost stopped breathing after he inhaled his chunk of wasabi (it makes my eyes water just typing this painful memory in). Adoodoo was not impressed. Sydney thought it was funny:)
speaking of funny, thanks for the new swimming suit Adoodoo. Sydney enjoys modelling it.
